Two Projects on Forest Genetic Monitoring Collaborate

To facilitate the exchange of knowledge and information between the LIFEGENMON and GenTree projects, some of the GenTree project personel were invited to attend the LIFEGENMON 3^rd Advisory board meeting in Ljubljana at the Slovenian Forestry Institute in September 2016.

As a result of the discussions that took place in Ljubljana, it was agreed that the two projects would pool their resources and organize a stakeholders’ event together showcasing what their outcomes imply for forest management, with particular focus on genetic resources management.
