Z bukvo pod bukve 2018 – Presentation of the children’s books

On Friday, 15^th of June 2018, LIFEGENMON children books promotion »Z bukvo pod bukve« with workshops and children puppet show was held at Slovenian Forestry Institute.

The event attended 63 kindergarten children (age: 2 to 6 years) and 10 pedagogues. We had different workshops during the event. Maša Ogrizek, the author of the LIFEGENMON children’s books, read and interpreted the book to the children. Nina Vastl had a creative art workshop “(Scientific) portrait of a tree”. Laura Žižek Kulovec and dr. Peter Železnik had the forest pedagogy session “Journey to the heart of the forest”, explaining the ecosystem to the children.

Event was concluded with puppet show Rainbow caterpillar, performed by Rada Kikelj Drašler.
