LIFEGENMON Newsletter 1

The Newsletter 1 (NL1) was published and released by the LIFEGENMON team describing in detail the main activities that were carried out during the first year of the project. A reference was made to the preparatory actions, to the implementation actions, to the monitoring of the Impact of the Project Actions, to the Communication and Dissemination actions and to the Project management. The most notable activities were the two LIFEGENMON Transect Drives which aimed to obtain information about forests, legislation, forest research and monitoring and to discuss the importance of forest genetic monitoring with NFPs.

The Newsletter is translated into all three languages (German, Greek and Slovenian) and is available to each country to use in their dissemination activities.
