IFSA Winter Meeting 2017 at Slovenian Forestry Institute
Third year in a row students from many different countries came to Slovenia on IFSA (International Forestry Students’ Association) Winter Meeting 2017.
On Wednesday, 15th of March 2017, they visited Ljubljana and spend a day with us.
The following projects and institutions were presented:

SIMWOOD project – mag. Andrej Breznikar
ARTEMIS project – dr. Maarten de Groot
DINALP BEAR – Matej Bartol
Student Bas Lerink from Netherlands presented his experience working at SIMWOOD project.
In the afternoon, the following practical workshops were organised for students. Some workshop were in laboratories, some outside.

LIFEGENMON laboratory analyses – dr. Peter Železnik, Tina Unuk
Tree‐anatomical analysis and ecophysiological measurements – dr. Polona Hafner
