Sustainable Forest Management Lecture at Biotechnical Centre Naklo

On Monday, 14^th of March 2016, a lecture on sustainable forest management with a practical workshop was held by Dr. Peter Železnik as part of the Sustainable landscape management course at BC Naklo – Higher Vocational College.

The presentation was attended by 25 students and their professors and included a general presentation of the sustainability concept, sustainability in forestry and a presentation of forest genetic monitoring and forest pedagogics as a special aspect of sustainable forestry. Students were also briefed about the LIFEGENMON project.

After the presentations, students were invited outside for a Flow learning session. The feedback from students was very positive.
